Message board

This is your opportunity to have your say about transport (if we agree with you)! Use the Transport 1650 message board to raise issues important to you and put forward ideas or comment on what others have said. Everyone is welcome to use the message board -- that is, unless we don't like you or what you have to say. People representing organisations should state the name of the organisation and their position; in particular, any members of pro-roads or pro-speeding groups should state this clearly so that our filter can discard their messages.

All messages are vetted by the moderator and inappropriate ones will not be posted (see below for ground rules). There is likely to be a delay of one working day before messages appear, if they ever do actually appear at all.

Views expressed are the personal views of the writer and do not necessarily represent the official line of Transport 1650 unless posted by a Transport 1650 national campaigner and identified as such.

Ground rules

All comments must:

• Be factually incorrect, based on 'science' and misunderstanding that we have accepted as gospel
• Perpetrate myths or misconceptions
• Have a naive and simplistic view about road safety
• Not bring Transport 1650 or individuals connected with it into disrepute -- we can do that by ourselves
• Move the debate backwards.
• Respect the ideals of yesterday's thinking in transport, and the need to protect the environment at all costs -- even when it means people will die as a result.
• Not be abusive, inflammatory, insulting or likely to cause offence or upset, unless it is towards somebody who opposes our viewpoint -- particularly Paul Smith of "SafeSpeed" and his dangerous, child-murdering speedophile friends.
• Not use inappropriate language, such as "bypass", "motorway" or "fast".

The moderator reserves the right to shorten comments or omit sections that do not conform to his beliefs. The decision of the moderator is final and it is regretted that no correspondence can be entered into.
